The Memphis Airport Area Development Corporation (MAADC) is a privately funded not-for-profit corporation dedicated to community and economic development in a geographic area adjacent to the Memphis International Airport (MEM). The area considered the MAADC focus area is shown on our Area Map page.
The MAADC is guided by a board of directors comprised of a member from each of the founding companies that provided funding or in kind equivalent support. Day to day efforts are managed by an Executive Director with additional expertise in special focus areas. Committee members are selected from experienced senior executives from the founding companies and MAADC area business leaders.
Founding member companies include Belz Enterprises, CB Richard Ellis, Elvis Presley Enterprises, FedEx, First Tennessee Bank, Medtronic, Memphis & Shelby County Airport Authority, Memphis Area Transit Authority, Memphis Regional Chamber, Nonconnah Corporate Center, Pinnacle Airlines Corp., Smith & Nephew and a Formal Group of Auto, Truck and Truck Engine Companies.
